As I am trying to solve the problem with the Transmission light coming on and going into limp mode, I noticed there is not a kickdown cable installed. I see the spot where I believe it installs but there is nothing there. Is there supposed to be one installed? If so, could this be causing the transmission to go into limp mode? I know it can also be alternator/bad ground/sensors but I noticed the kickdown cable missing right off the bat. I saw nothing about a kickdown cable in this chilton's manual I bought so I figured I would ask here. Any info would be of help! Thanks in advance
