Okay, one of you smart guys, please help me out.

I am having difficulty grasping the difference between 12 V Memory and 12 V power.

Which one is constant, and which one is switched?

I've got all the wires figured out for my radio swap, but these two have me paralyzed with indecision. Don't want to hook them up incorrectly and let all the smoke out, as someone here likes to say. (Was that you shooter? squatch? psguardian?)

Thank you!

Thank you!

Makes sense. If the memory is turned off (switched) all the station presets would be lost every time the ignition was turned off.

I'm happy now.

I dunno.

I can agree with "Power is switched".

But, -at least my- memory is not so constant.
