Well here I am again with another Tire question on my wife's mazda 3s.

I rotated the tires a couple of weeks ago and posted a problem with getting the rim off.

Today I noticed that one of the front tires looked low so I grabed my tire gauge to see what was going on. As I crouched down to test it out I saw a nail sticking out of the tire wall! yikes. I know I can't plug a side wall so .....

Should I buy 1 new tire or 2 new tires? The current tires have 9.5k. The tires I just rotated to the rear is noticeablly more worn. I already know I'll be spending +100 per tire due to the 17" tire size.

I always buy tyres in 2's, just cos I am weird like that, especially if they are about the same age.

My tire guy had some good used ones. So he tossed one on for 40 bucks.

This fall I'll put on 4 new ones.
