How do you remove the formed front mud flaps on my trooper?
The are held on in 4 places but they are not bolts. They look kind of like they are push in fasteners but I can't get them to pull out either.
I may just take a die grinder to the heads and cut them off but would prefer not to have to do that

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

I had a 99 and tried to get those off...got the rears off but never did get the fronts. I think drilling or cutting off the fasteners is the only way...maybe someone else has had success though.

The way I got mine off was to find a nice rock ledge and ease down it real slow...

Took them right off.

Heh, yep, that's why I tried to take them off before I went wheeling...
