Isuzu 3.0TD Engine

Isusu has offered diesel engines for quite some time overseas, but hasn't in the US since 1986. Now GM is using the Isuzu Duramax, but there are engines that were offered overseas that many of us haven't seen. Here are some pictures of a 1997 Trooper with the 3.0 Turbo Diesel intercooled engine. I know many of us would love to have the reliability, power and economy of a diesel. Drool away. (For me having the hood with the scoop for the intercooler would be a good start)
