ISUZU IFS AIR-LOCKER
Tough, Reliable, No Compromise Traction
Seattle, WA - The popularity of Isuzu 4WD vehicles is increasing as more consumers discover the quality of production and impressive performance exemplified by these vehicles. Isuzu's reputation as a solid off-road performer in countries well known for their severe terrain speaks volumes for the vehicle's capability and durability.
Lack of front wheel travel caused by relatively short drive shafts is the only common frustation amoung Isuzu owners with regards to the vehicles off-road performance. To overcome the limited front wheel travel, ARB USA 4x4 Accessories now offers an Air Locker for the front axle of Independent Front Suspension models. The RD94 Air Locker suits 17 spline axles that are commomly found on the front of most late-model Isuzu 4WD vehicles, including:
- Isuzu Trooper & VehiCROSS ('88 on)
- Isuzu Amigo, Rodeo Sport, Rodeo ('90 on)*
- Isuzu Axiom ('01 on)
May not fit some 98 models - call for details
When fitted, the Air Locker functions exactly like the factory "open" differential, allowing the front tires to turn independently for safe, predictable handling. When additional traction is needed, the driver simply activates the Air Locker by pressing a dash-mounted switch. The Air Locker instantly engages with pneumatic pressure, thus locking the front axle shafts together for 100% traction. Another press of the activation switch instantly converts the Air Locker back to an "open" differential, making it completely transparent to the driver.
ARB also offers Bull Bars & protection equipment, Old Man Emu tuned suspension, a complete range of IPF high performance lighting options, and many other quality accessories for Isuzu 4WD vehicles.
