I replaced the factory radio with a Pioneer DEH-545 CD Stereo. It pumps out 45 watts to all four channels. It has a built in alarm which is now connected to the pin switches of the doors. It is also connected to the horns and blasts a high pitch through the speakers when activated. A little security in an otherwise insecure world!
In addition I replaced the front speakers with a set of JBL GT 6.0c component speakers. They utilize a 6.5" woofer and 1" titanium tweeter.
I also replaced the back speakers with a set of Pioneer 5.25" mids. While the system isn't complete yet, it does sound a hell of a lot better.
Pioneer Head Unit:

The detachable face Pioneer DEH-545 AM/FM/CD head unit has 40w x 4 channel power.
Titanium Tweeters:
The installed tweeters from the JBL GT6.0c component set. I carefully cut out the factory tweeter grill with a hobby knife. This looks even better and sounds awesome thanks to JBL's use of titanium as tweeter material. Titanium tells the truth!
Woofers:

The JBL woofer installed in the front factory speaker location. This required extensive use of the old hobby knife. I also had to fabricate a .25" spacer out of MDF so the window would clear the magnet when rolled down. The factory grill pops right back in place so it looks stock.
Mid-Ranges:

The Pioneer mids installed in the rear factory speaker location. Sorry I don't remember the model number (MD-131?), but they are 5.25" and required absolutely no modification what-so-ever, other than the speaker leads of course.
